CEZAR CONZALEZ: A SUCCESSFUL MAN AND AN EXAMPLE

KINGWOOD, Texas – On August 12 at 6:30 PM the HISPANIC EXECUTIVE SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL in Kingwood has presented as a guest speaker Mr. Cezar Gonzalez  who is the Executive Director of the Lake Houston Family YMCA. HESI members and their guests, who attended the new monthly meeting, were given the opportunity to hear about the guest speaker’s leadership and exemplary career with the YMCA. Mr. Gonzalez who is well known in Kingwood’s for his service to our community was the protagonist of a really inspirational story. From a poor Hispanic family, rich of many brothers and sisters who had a positive impact on his juvenile years, after overcoming three times critical health problems he was able to go successfully through his high school education. He graduated at the University of Texas at El Paso where he earned his degree in Business management and he decided to exploit his good preparation in sport becoming in time a swimming instructor, the director and the administrator of swimming pools and of different YMCA centers in the State of Texas. Mr. Gonzalez spent six years as an Executive Director in Houston and eight years with the YMCA in El Paso and finally he became Executive Director of the Lake Houston Family YMCA located in Kingwood where he has been working for six years. Mr. Gonzalez has identified the reasons of his professional success, that is a great example to the young Hispanics of our community, in the following sources: setting one’s goal high, working hard and with a constant faith in the final achievement and offering our fellow citizens the best customer service.

Mr. Gonzalez’s presentation was followed with great interest and with participation by all the people who attended this new event that, as usual, was completed by a warm social during which the members of the Hispanic Executive Society International and their guests were able to spend some time together discussing topics that because of their common language and origin are particularly interesting to them.
