A HESI car for the first time in the traditional parade

Kingwood, Texas -- America has celebrated its 232nd birthday and the Hispanic Executive Society International of Kingwood participated in the most important American patriotic event of the year for the first time. HESI is a community based organization that has its headquarters in Kingwood. HESI members are Hispanics who are driven by the desire to help other Hispanics and they achieve this purpose by Keeping in mind the future of the young Hispanic generations, focusing on higher education with guidance and scholarships, on career achievement with training programs designed to accelerate their advancement, on executive leadership with management development training, and on entrepreneurship and business management development mentoring and coaching. Independence Day is the time for the glorious Star and Stripes, a red white and blue day that the people of our towns celebrate with fun with the members of their families and friends, with BBQs, picnics, fireworks and with parades and marching bands. The President, Mr. Joe Ramirez and the board members of HESI were glad to add to the their 2008 calendar full of interesting events also this new important initiative that will help the community to visualize a presence that is particularly effective for its social relevance. The cheerful and colorful parade started at 10:00 am from Sand Fork in the vicinity of Creekwood Middle School and continued along Kingwood drive where the members of HESI and their town fellows were able to cheer for the first time the HESI car. It was a new event particularly meaningful and rewarding for President Ramirez and for all the HESI members that added new motivation and encouragement to continue in their mission to inspire and support the young Hispanics of the Houston area in order to help them become a vital part of the great Country that celebrated one more time the Independence Day. Perfect integration in the spirit of the motto “From many one” is the main purpose of HESI that finds its inspiration in the ideals of our Founding Fathers who gave origin to our Nation and in those of the many heroes who defended its freedom on the battlefields with their sufferings and with the generous sacrifice of their life.
