LOMA LINDA, California -- A magnitude-4.0 earthquake has hit
east of Los Angeles,
but authorities say there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
The
US Geological Survey
says the temblor occurred around 7:15 a.m. Monday and was centered 2 miles (3.2
kilometers) east of Loma Linda in San
Bernardino County.
The
city has a population of 21,000 and is home to Loma
Linda University
and Medical Center.
